Her 30 years of IT and Health IT experience is demonstrated in her technical acumen and expertise in bringing transformational change into all areas of the business to deliver more value to customers. Carla’s proven ability as an achiever, communicator, and learner with a strategic and futuristic focus enables her to utilize technology as a tool to translate business goals.
Carla has a Master’s in IT Management, is a CPHIMS (Certified Professional in Healthcare Information Management Systems), is certified in EpicCare Ambulatory EHR (Electronic Health Record), and has certificates in Information Assurance, Public Health IT, and Instructional Design Principles. She is a College Professor of Health IT and IT. She has worked as a Senior Consultant, Senior Project Manager, Program Manager, Senior System/Applications Analyst, Senior Business Analyst, IT Trainer, System Administrator, and Business Operations Manager, and specializes in Clinical Informatics, Electronic Health Records, Health Information Exchange, and Patient Portals.
Carla is passionate about data and technology and believes that technological developments, enhancing education and training of employees and the workforce, and organizational change align with a data-driven organization and customer value. She is a leader who delivers solutions that help drive change with people, processes, and technology.
